Nina believes that how you travel is just as important as where you arrive.
That is why she tries to follow a few simple principles:
She listens more than she speaks.
She asks questions before drawing conclusions.
She tries to understand each culture on its own terms, without comparing it to what she already knows.
She respects the people, traditions and places that welcome her.
She seeks out the stories hidden behind the places she discovers.
She enjoys each moment—what she sees, what she feels and the people she meets.
She sees every journey as an inner journey, too: an opportunity to grow, change and discover something new about herself.
She ventures into the unknown and tries things she has never done before, with joy, curiosity and courage.
For Nina, a journey is not measured in kilometres or photographs.
It is measured in the people she meets, the experiences she has, the questions she carries with her and the ways each journey changes her.
What principles do you travel by?
